Dear all,

In order for us to conclude the conference program and put in online, we need you to confirm, by paying, that you will be at the conference. If you haven’t registered and paid the conference fee, please do so until this Friday (30^th September).

If your abstract has been accepted but you will not be able to come to the
conference, please send us an e-mail also until the end of the week.

The final program and the logistics of the conference depend on the confirmation of your presence.

You have two payment options:

1. paypal - you can choose registration on the website's menu, and then you
must choose your registration type. You'll be then able to pay with paypal,
using your credit card or, in some cases, your debit card. You don't have to
have a paypal account for that, as you can use paypal as a guest. You'll
immediately receive a confirmation that you can save or print.

2. Bank transfer - you can transfer money to our account. If you prefer
this option, please send us an email to sicyurb.cies@iscte.pt and we will
send you a payment form, with the account number and all details. If you
choose this option, you must send us back by e-mail the payment form
fulfilled and also the transference proof. Please note that if you use this
option, your payment won't appear immediately in the website (we will update
this information manually).

Hello! We'd like to remind you that if you want to submit and share your full paper (which we strongly advise you to) you should send it to sicyurb.cies@iscte.pt until September 15!

Sending the full paper is optional.

Papers should be sent as a pdf (in one of the conferences languages). The structure and the size of papers can be decided by each presenter, but they must have less than 6000 words. Each paper should be sent only once (we will not be able to post second versions or papers that are sent after the deadline). In
mid-September, when logging in to the website, you'll be able to see all the papers that have been submitted. Meanwhile, you can now check online for all the accepted abstracts (see presentations, in the menu on your right.

The draft program to SICYUrb is now available. Check on 'program' in the menu and then download the full document in pdf.

Once again, thank you very much for your interest on SICYUrb. We have received more than 300 proposals and we feel sure the conference will be
full of interesting presentations and exciting debates. We are currently scheduling the sessions and we will soon post a complete and updated

FCSH-UNL and  ISCTE-IUL have joined efforts and are offering for the first time this year a PhD Program in Urban Studies (coordinated by FCSH-UNL) and a Masters in Urban Studies (coordinated by ISCTE-IUL) .
